Today. Wednesday lunch. 4 persons. Wholesome portuguese food. Our friends had the chanfana and leitao. Paul said the chanfana was one of the best he has had in Portugal. Carol said the leitao was the best in the 14 years they have lived here. Bryony a vegetarian had a seasoned omelette, chips and salad. I had the breaded chicken. Good house white wine. Service steady as 30 covers. All portuguese except our group. A few minutes outside of Miranda Do Corvo. Soup, main couse, deserts, drinks and coffee all in, 52. Definitely worth a visit.

If you want to eat roast suckling pig, there is no better place. The owner is Paula, who is not only a great cook, but also a very friendly person, as are the other staff. I highly recommend it.
